Reinforced masonry arches

LimitState:RING allows masonry arch bridges incorporating ductile reinforcement to be modelled quickly and simply. Compressive and tensile properties, as well as reinforcement depth, are easy to specify across an entire span, or on a contact by contact basis.

Results have been validated against a number of industry-standard tests, including those conducted by the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL).

Moment, shear and normal force diagrams can be displayed to help users interpret the response of reinforced masonry arch bridges.
