LimitState:RING includes the ability to impose support movements, providing a powerful diagnostic tool for investigating a range of issues, including:

• The likely causes of transverse cracks in the arch barrels, such as settlement after construction or subsidence beneath a pier or abutment.

• The behaviour of bridges under service loads, including responses that may be cause for concern, such as major changes in thrust line position or opening and closing hinges.
